For the game Tuesday night, Coach has asked that we meet at Western Hills High School at 4:45 PM. Depending on traffic, it could be a little over an hour travel time and a little extra time to find the gym when you get there.

The Freshman game starts at 5:30 PM.

Apollo "Casa Martinez" Summer Slamdown

Returning players from last year's team have been invited to dress for the Varsity Tournament in Owensboro, KY. The event is hosted by Apollo High School and it starts on Friday, August 15th.

Here are the directions from Lexington to the Holiday Inn Express. It's about a three hour drive and there is a time change so plan accordingly.

The team will meet at the hotel lobby at 4:15 PM Central Time ( 5:15 PM Eastern ) to get something to eat and head to the gym that night.

Pool Play at Apollo High School Court #2:

• Game 1 against Conner will be at 6:30 PM Friday
• Game 2 against Green County will be at 8:30 PM Friday
  
• Game 3 against Davies County will be at 8:00 AM Saturday

Tournament advance from our pool:
#1 and #2 Teams will play at Apollo HS on Saturday for the Gold Tournament

• #1 Team at 2:15 PM ( 1st round bye )
• #2 Team at 10:00 AM

#3 and #4 Teams will play at the Boys & Girls Club in the Silver Tournament

• #3 Team at 2:25 PM ( 1st round bye )
• #4 Team at 10:00 AM

Pre-season Scrimmage

Pre-season Scrimmage at Lafayette on Tuesday, August 12 for Freshmen, JV and Varsity; 6 - 9 p.m.

We ‘R’ Spirit is located at 261 Ruccio Way, Suite 100 (inside the front door of the building on the right). The building is right next door to KBA. You may want to check their hours of operation before heading over there. The phone number is 224-0944.

They are jam packed with a large assortment of bags, purses, shirts, polos, jackets, pullovers, flip flops, sports bras, towels…you name it! It’s a lot of fun to shop in there. It’s a great place to shop for big sis/little sis gifts, Christmas gifts, birthday gifts and more. You can personalize anything you want or you can get the Creek Volleyball logo put on any item as well.

The great thing about it is our team makes 15% off all of your purchases. We 'R' Spirit will periodically send a check to our Booster Club in the amount of our earned percentage. All you need to do when you are done shopping is tell them to add it to the Tates Creek Volleyball Booster Account. Tell your family members as well. It’s the perfect, easy way to support our Booster Club!

Booster Club Meeting

There will be a Booster Club Meeting on Monday, August 4 at 5:30 at TCHS.

Apparel Orders

Just a reminder that apparel orders are due to Lindi today. She will be at the Booster Club Meeting today (5:30 in TCHS Cafeteria) to collect orders. She will also have information to share at the meeting about ordering sweats and shorts.

Candy Bar Fund Raiser

Old Kentucky Chocolate candy bars are now available with a check payable to TCVB Booster Club; $30 per bag ($15 donation to Booster Club). Contact Laurie Trout (333-6875). Also available at the Booster Club Meeting on August 4.
