70's Night

The Henches and the Smiths stood out from the rest of us on 70's night. The girls and the coaches coordinated tie-dye, head bands, school spirit and results with three wins from Freshman, JV and Varsity.

Rob did a great job of selecting 70's songs for the night and I am sure that both teams enjoyed the fun surrounding the game. We need to start a campaign to hear his rendition of "Green Velvet" and "Don't step on my green tape shoes" at the banquet.

Thanks to Dudley and others for capturing these images.

Thanks to Lafayette for hosting such a well run and competitive tournament. It was an exciting two days of volleyball with many college scouts attending to watch players from all over Kentucky.

50 Shirts Available for Tates Creek Players and Fans

So many compliments were given to the seniors from other players and teams regarding their neon pink “Creek Seniors” shirts at KBA this past weekend that a few parents came up with an idea, through approval from the booster board members, to sell t-shirts at open house as a fundraiser. These shirts will only say “CREEK” in neon pink and nothing about volleyball in order to increase the volume we can sell any student. See the attached design for reference.

We will be selling the shirts for $12 and if we sell 50 shirts we will make over $300 to add to the profit we have already made on our volleyball apparel. I would love to sell all 50 and have more requests. We will only be ordering 40 smalls and 10 mediums at first and if there is not much interest beyond that we will not be producing any more than that. If any of you would like to guarantee yourself a shirt you can email lindicampbell@insightbb.com and let her know you want one. She can set it aside for you but you will be obligated to purchase the shirt once they are ready.

This would make a great black out effect for the student section at all of our home games.
