Abi Wheeler will join her sister Hannah on the 2010 Eagles Volleyball team.Wheeler played for five years at Tates Creek under coach Megan Filburn, and will join her sister Hannah on the Eagles squad in 2010. Abi was named to the Lexington All-City 2nd Team in 2009 and was also named to the Cake Classic All Tournament Team. She was also a member of the 2005 Commodore team that made a run to the State Quarterfinals."Abi's versatility makes her a valuable addition to our team as we head into the 2010 season" Coach JP Rader said. "We are excited to add a player of her skill and strength of character."A right-side hitter in high school, Wheeler could also find time as a defensive specialist or possibly set according to Coach Rader.

Asbury Volleyball adds Wheeler for 2010
Lexington, Ky. - Abi Wheeler of Tates Creek High School in Lexington has signed with Coach JP Rader and the Asbury Eagles Volleyball team for the Fall of 2010. The signing came in a ceremony at Tates Creek on Tuesday afternoon.Abi Wheeler will join her sister Hannah on the 2010 Eagles Volleyball team.Wheeler played for five years at Tates Creek under coach Megan Filburn, and will join her sister Hannah on the Eagles squad in 2010.
